Dear sisters. Spring is already here in Moldova, even if winter doesn't want to give up. We still have the fight between the two seasons, and this week had some cold days with little snow even. Next week they promise good, warm, spring weather. We want to know you are all good and we hope spring is felt in your country too, even if you are closer to the north pole.
Generally we are all good, dividing ourselves between our jobs that are quite demanding, our families that also need us and volunteering work. But we are happy to be able to do that.
Relating to Senior academy, we finally started implementing the project and we intend to continue, even if it is very difficult to take old people out from their homes. At the beginning of march we organised the transportation of a group of 25 ladies from Milesti village to attend a concert in Nisporeni.
Also, within the school from Seliste we organised an activity for retired people from Seliste and Ciutesti villages. We attached some pictures. The participants were very happy and satisfied after the activities even if it was very difficult to make them come. Another activity will be organised next Friday. So we are still grateful for your support and hope to make this project a long lasting one, even if the beginning is tough. But we are glad you understand us.
Also, we intend to continue with our Summer school project. We will send you the project soon.
Irina is good now. She is in the center for refugees and she intends to remain in Moldova.
Educate- Empower- Enable, that is really our goal and we work for it, but together is easier. Thank you again.
